November 30th, 2006Kate Winslet is one celebrity I love. But the ho is always on chat shows complaining about how the standard of beauty is set too high by digital manipulation and flawless images of the rich and famous that are digitally modified. She always mentions the time where she complained when a magazine cover had her body stretched to look thinner, but Kate Winlset isn’t exactly being honest in her crusade against digital retouching, as every single new magazine cover with Winlset on the front seems to cast her in an increasingly flawless light.
Now since we all know that Kate Winlset is an honest celebrity with a sense of duty that comes before her vanity I guess we should all assume that she simply forgot to ask the hundreds of other magazine features of her to hold the airbrush and amp up the reality, because all I’m seeing here is digital enhancement, makeup and some pretty beautiful lighting.

She’s also always saying how she hates how they airbrush her pictures to death in magazines. It’s not her or her people that do it, it’s the magazines wanting to sell more copies… and apparently the people on the covers need to look like a waxwork for that to happen.
